William Chikejo Madafu will be remembered fondly by those who have worked with him for his adherence to the fire safety standards and training procedures that were above board. Having been in the fire industry in Kenya for the last 47 years, William had proved to his peers and fores that knowledge on fire safety is vital not only to the firefighters but also the members of the public.

As we mourn the loss of another of our country's best firefighter, we at the Intel Fire Group of Companies reflect on the courage of firefighters and their daily challenges in maintaining quality fire service delivery.
Our hearts break for his family and, on behalf of Intel Fire Group of Companies, we offer them our deepest gratitude and sympathy. We will never be able to fully express the gratitude and honor deserved by Mr. Madafu wearing the firefighter emblem for the people he served in Mombasa and other parts of Kenya. But perhaps the greatest tribute that we can pay to Mr. Madafu is to keep his memories alive to continue inspiring new generations in fire industry in Kenya and beyond.
